The Treaty of 1817

In Honor of all those who have served their country in war or in peace. May the flag always stand for freedom and as a tribute to those who have given a part of their lives so that others may live free.

This Monument with plaque is at the intersection of Hwy 124 and 285 West of Martinville, Ar. Its on a ridge line with Hwy 285 going downhill towards Conway, Ar.
The plaque was an unexpected find along the highway. Its been there since 1965.
Its self explanatory. Sound like the white guys got a good deal once again.
